VCC foreign language exam verifies language competences of the candidates. It encompasses all levels of language proficiency (A1 to C2) defined in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in the following languages:
• English
• German
• French
CEFR is a guideline used to define language proficiency, recommended by the European Council in 2001, which is currently all European standard of assessment of foreign language competence. The criteria of language proficiency are presented as they are defined on Europass website.
In the certification process we use the latest IT developments, which makes the examination process accessible and candidate-friendly, and the results fully credible.
The examination process is supervised by experienced and verified examiners. Additionally, exam papers may also be verified by experts appointed by VCC Foundation.
VCC Language Exam verifies both receptive and productive skills i.e. comprehension, speaking and writing in 4 exam papers:
• Paper 1: Reading comprehension, Vocabulary and Grammar structures
• Paper 2: Writing
• Paper 3: Listening
• Paper 4: Speaking
All the VCC Language Certificates are compliant with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The candidates receive a supplement describing each of the skills according to the standards set by the European Council.
VCC certificate is compliant with the guidelines of EuroPass language competence project created by the European Union to standardize information on skills and competences on the labour market.
The exam cost per participant depends on the proficiency level and is as follows:
Levels A1-A2 – 350 PLN
Levels B1-B2 – 450 PLN
Levels C1-C2 – 550 PLN
